While promoting his latest movie Driving Lessons in Los Angeles, Rupert Grint mentions briefly the atmosphere with the new director David Yates, filming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and his ideas where his character Ron will go.
Rupert also discusses rumours about Chris Columbus and Alfonso Cuarón’s participation in the sixth and seventh films.

Personally i think the direction of the actors have increased for every picture. Ergo The last director was best, then came Alfonso Curan and last and Least Mr. Columbus.

This is brill that all the Weasleys are going to be in this film and Rupert mentioned a christmas scene when they give out presents - can't wait!!

I'm really happy that they are having more of the Waesleys in the film. They are such a huge part of Harry's life. I'm hoping to see Bill and Charlie in one of the movies.

I was unable to down load the video, but in my opinion Columbus should finish the films. Everyone is concerened about him not being "dark" enough for the final two, but the first two bookswere on the lighter side compared to book six, and I think even if he just follows the story, it will naturally be "darker" than tha first two. As far as grasping the nature of Harry, I think he did a terrific job. Blessings! Hecate3fold!

I'm trying to see if Driving Lessons is going to be relased anywhere near me and how I could get it released near here. If there's anyone from Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, or Montana that wants to see it, then perhaps we could all petition Sony to release it in Boise or Salt Lake City or something.

More Weasley scene's is good. Glad they included the Christmas scene. As for who the next director should I'm not sure. I think I'll hold off my opinion til after OoTP and see how well Yates does.

What a cute video! He seemed very shy, and didn't say much (save the obvious). He says the same things when nervous that I say! that just makes me love him even more! Anyway...who should direct film 7? I think to make the perfect harry potter movie, we need a mix between cauron, combus and newell. Whatever it is, i can already tell i will be the most diapoointed, because if that's messed up..well..there just aren't any more to fix it, are there? I'd like to see how david yates does film 5 first.

Rupert Grint says that the fifth film is going to be 'darker' than the others... That's what they said about the fourth!
Don't they realize by now that they get progressively darker as the characters mature and the war gets more violent?
They'll probably say the same thing, about the sixth being darker, when it comes out, and eventually the seventh as well! : )

But looks like rupert will be playing ron until the end thank god!!

I'm pretty sure I'd like it if Chris Columbus came back. That picture of the driving is hilarious, I can't wait until Driving Lessons exists on DVD.
But every time there's a link to the Jew Review all I can think of "It's the new Zoo Review, coming back at you!" which makes me a terrible person, right?

I am extremely upset. I can't see Driving Lessons! There are no theatres in a sixty mile radius that are showing it and for some reason I can't coax my father into driving any farther than that.

That was a great video, very interesting. Of course, I wish there was more concrete info on whether Alfonso or Chris Columbus are seriously being considered as directors for the last two. I don't want Alfonso to direct them, I really did not like the way he did PoA. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, though.

Ah. I want to see Driving Lessons. I don't think that I would like Chris Columbus to direct either of the last two films, considering that they are very dark books and the first two movies are very light-hearted. But I think that Cuaron would be able to provide the darkness that the books demand. I love how artsy Alfonso is.
