Many of you have emailed us to let us know that you can now pre-order Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows via the UK, French and German Amazon web sites.
If you live in any of these countries you can pre-order via the links below (please note that the price may not be set on any of these sites):
- EUR 23,74 - £13.99 - EUR 19,90 This follows our earlier report that Borders bookstores in the U.S. have been taking reservations for the book for the last week or so, which is currently unavailable via their web site. All web sites and stores do not give a release date at this time.
We will update as soon as we know if the Amazon or Barnes & Noble U.S. web sites will let you pre-order.
Thanks to Shannon, Andrea, Markus and Jacque for the links. Also thanks to Emily and Jenny for letting us know that they have both reserved their copy of the book at Borders in Fort Worth, Texas and Chicago.
UPDATE: Thanks to a member who shall remain nameless for letting us know that Barnes & Noble and their BookMaster system is now allowing reservations for Book 7 - it's a dummy ISBN and only reservations are allowed, not actual orders, but it IS giving a release date of 7/7/07. Please note that no release date has been announced so please treat this date as fill-in.

AWESOME! I cannot wait.... I wish I could preorder it in the US, but then again, that would take out all the fun of going out dressed up however I manage and getting a book at midnight, which I totally love.... =D
I really hope the release date is 7/7/07, that would just be too cool.

At first I thought it was presumptous of the bookstores to take pre-sale orders, but now look, a few weeks after they started, she gives us the title. That makes me think that maybe the stores get more info than they let on. I'm therefore crossing my fingers for the 07/07/07 release. If that actually happens I think I will have a heart attack.

Idon't think that I'm going to pre-order it...I would if would give it to me the day after I order it because my friend ordered the HBP and it cam efter like 3 or 4 days when it told her that it will come to her "tomorrow" on the day she ordered it.
I don't know may be I will, may I won't. :D I just want to read the books as fast as possible. :D

Has anyone tried to preorder via the amazon.UK website?? They have a ship date of March 1st on their preorder once you go to the final purchace screen. I have held of preordering yet myself since this contradicts the suggested release date of 07/07/07. The UK did not reject my US address so that at least is encouraging. If anyone does go through with preordering HP7 please let me and the rest of us know. Thanks and Happy New Year!!
