Harry Potter book illustrator Mary GrandPré discusses
in an interview from December that she doesn't know anything about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and has not decided on a color for the cover. She also mentions that she would like to paint Hagrid in color and that her favorite book color is blue for Order of the Phoenix.

Oh, I cant wait to see what the cover will look like. I love her artwork, last year I had a calander with her harry potter artwork. I just enjoyed it so much! I think the "Cage of Light" was my favorite picture. It was the the scene where Harry and Voldemort's wands connect, in the graveyard. I wish she would do a color drawing of every character, and put them in book to buy. That would be awesome!!

I had to go on an online search to find the US covers of the books, and figure out what she was talking about! At the risk of incurring the wrath of many here, I actually prefer the covers we get here in Australia, the UK covers.

I'd like a silver/gray cover..... o maybe a Yellow one. Or maybe a full colored one like the first ones!!

Wow, i'm surprised she likes too blue, i really do like the blue color alot too because of all of the different shades of it, but i have too say, my favorite one is the green from the Half Blood Prince, but they really are all very good. I wonder when she will make a cover for the book though just because i really want too see it.
