Due to the recent press coverage of Daniel Radcliffeopens in new window's controversial play Equus, the possibility of Warner Bros. firing the actor have triggered the rumor mill. However, the company responsible for the Harry Potter movies have issued an official press release fully supporting Daniel's choice of appearing in the play.

Daniel Radcliffe is an extremely talented actor, as well as a great collaborator and friend to Warner Bros. Pictures. We've had great experiences working with him on our films and fully support him in the artistic choices he makes as an actor.
