Reports are surfacing
online that the current production of Equus on London's West End featuring Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths will be Broadway (New York) bound.
According to the article, the producers of the play hope to bring the play to New York in the Fall of 2007. This may sound a bit farfetched as filming for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is scheduled to start later this year.

Wow, sounds like the play is really good if they want to try and expand it. I guess it's really good for Dan because people will see that he's not just stuck in the HP role, he's flexible to play other characters.

I'd have thought if the play came to Broadway that they'd get a whole new cast to play the parts. Then Radcliffe wouldn't have to try to fit it all in between New York and Potter.

I love the sun, I read it everyday as it's got interesting stories but sometimes i think they make things up when there are no new stories to tell. This story about broadway being one of them. Yeah the play might be going but I doubt Richard Griffiths and Dan are going to. Especially as Dan has two more HP films to shoot in the next couple of years.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this happen... but not so soon. Like the article says, HP filming is scheduled for that time (which takes place UK-side) and Dan's busy enough as it is anyway. Maybe a short tour or something though and then they'll head back to the UK?
