Reports are surfacing
online that the current production of Equus on London's West End featuring Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths will be Broadway (New York) bound.
According to the article, the producers of the play hope to bring the play to New York in the Fall of 2007. This may sound a bit farfetched as filming for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is scheduled to start later this year.

If it does, either he isn't going to be in many of the shows here, or he won't be in any at all.

Well that would be something! It would definitely be easier for me to see it than in London. But I think it's only a rumor. How is Dan, as busy as he is, supposed to fit that into his schedule? Half Blood Prince I thought was supposed to start filming in the fall anyway.

Great that the play is so popular!:)
Still, it won't make much difference to me, because New York is even further out of my reach than London:(

Wow..thats very interesting. I dont think that it would come here because many people would prebbly protest against it and I not sure but I think it would be illegal because Dan is not 18 yet..im not sure about that thought... I relly wonder if this rumor is real or fake.

If they do bring it to Broadway, it'll have to be this summer, because if filming for HBP is this fall, Daniel better not skip out on it for the play.

That'd be cool! That way us Americans wouldn't have to cross the "big pond" other wise known as the Atlantic Ocean....

Even if it comes, I won't see it. I don't care who's in it. I mean, it's about a guy who fetishizes horses. Why is this considered in any way to be the groundbreaking phenomenon it's made out to be? I guess it does take some effort to go from kissing Cho Chang to...*ahem* horses. But why are we awarding this? Just because Dan Radcliff is the star? That's really not a good enough reason. Not for me.

If it was at Broadway with Daniel Radcliffe, then tickets would probably be sold out for months ahead within less then an hour.

RON's all up in heRmiONe says:
I don't know whether to think this is true or not. It would be great if it were true, because I live in New York(hopefully by later this summer I'll be living on the other side of the country) and it would take 30 minutes to get to NYC and see the play and I could see it again. If they do put the play on broadway, would Daniel Radcliffe star in it? It will coincide with the new movie, and Dan will have to travel to the US and stay here for 3 months, and where would they stay? In a hotel for that long? It would be too hard to do, so I don't think its going to happen, or at least not with Dan as Alan Strang.

I'm a quick drive to New York, so if by chance would have it, they bring the play here, I will go and see it. The last thing I saw in New York was Hairspray...this certainly would be different! *laughs*
