Thanks to an HPANA member from Japan for a description of the international Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix trailer which was shown on TV there earlier today.
Thanks to all who have let us know that the video is currently online but since it is such poor quality we will not be posting a link to it. As we first reported yesterday, the trailer will be online starting tomorrow and we will let you know when you are able to view it. The description is great though. Enjoy.

I have to say... early reviews of OotP made it sound dull, unfriendly to Ron, and killing a lot of favorite parts. Despite the killing of WIOK, Mrs. Weasley's Boggart, and some other things, I feel like Ron has a lot to do in this one. And I think that a lot of other things were played down by early reviews. The twins great escape, even in this low quality version, seems better than how it was described. I'm very excited! As this was definitely my least favorite book. :)

The trailer sounds awesome! I tracked down the very poor quality one on YouTube. You can see how awesome it is despite the quality. Dumbledore dissapearing with Fawkes looks sooo awesome! :)
I can't wait to find out whether Snape gives Umbridge a hard time like he did in the book. Veritaserum takes a month to brew, surely you didn't use it ALL, Umbridge? Since supposedly Cho is now the sneak, and REAL Veritaserum is used to make her blab, does that mean that Snape doesn't give Umbridge fake Veritaserum like in the books? :( Ah well.

I am so excited that we're going away from "kiddie-ized" Harry Potter movies into what actually happens in the book. It appears that the emotion associated with the book is going to be present in the movie. I can't tell you how happy I am that OotP is going to be more grown up and show the true emotion associated with the books. My boyfriend has disliked all the past HP movies because they are overly directed towards children. I think he will really like this movie. Oh, for anyone needing the link to the horrendous-quality trailer, here it is.
