As has been rumored on the web, HPANA can now confirm several premieres of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix around the world this year.
Japan will once again be honored with a red carpet premiere (possibly the world premiere, June 28, unconfirmed). The Odeon Leicester Square in London will host that country's premiere on July 3. Los Angeles will see an event July 8.
Thanks to DR.co.uk
, ICM
and everyone who e-mailed.
UPDATE: Warner Bros. has listed all of the theatrical release dates
for Phoenix on the official HP site. Thanks to UHP
for the tip!

Yes! The movie will premiere in the Philippines 2 days earlier than USA and UK! Cool! But... I'll probably wouldn't be able to watch it on the day it premieres though, I've got school to mind - classes will end on that day at 6... Darn.

I am quite upset that I live thousands of miles from all the places scheduled to hold premieres. Woe.
Anyways, why is it that Warner Brothers favors Japan so? It is rather odd that the company places more importance on them than on Harry's home!

It is actually nice to hear that other countries get to have an opportunity to see something before my country does. I'll have to wait until July 13 anyway.

That's really good for Japan since they have such a massive fanbase in Japan, and I think London got it last year.

Too bad we can't all get the opportunity to see the movie before the general release. I have a feeling the theatres will be packed the first weekend anyway and you know I'll be in line at one of them somewhere :)

Waow - the movie's in Japanese before it's in English? Like, seriously, what the freak. Well, one things for sure, there will never be an important movie premiere in Jamaica - as if they would want to have a premiere at Carib 5 or Palace Cineplex. Like, shyeah right. I don't think there is like ANY importance at all when a movie is shown for the first time here. Haha, maybe they'd have important guests - like Portia. Haha.

Cool! I can't wait to see the pictures from the premier. I hope all the actors can make it here to the US for the premier but I'm sure there are some that will not make it.

That pretty cool...I must admit that I surprised that it is premiering in Japan before England and that Japan might be the world premiere. Thats pretty cool and lucky for them.
