Helena Bonham Carter, who will play Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix mentions briefly her stint on the set filming the movie in a new
interview.
I had five lines in that. I think they cut three of them - and I was there for six weeks. I don't know quite how, still, to this day, I was there for that long. It really is 90 per cent waiting. I mean, nice waiting - waiting's OK if you've got a trailer. I just sleep. I'm a very good sleeper. And it is quite amazing to meet all these old actors. It's like a rest-home for British Equity, and we're all lying around and chatting. You can't look to huge job satisfaction, but it's nice to be part of it. And it's fun to be a witch.
UPDATE: In another interview she says much the same thing about filming Order of the Phoenix but adds that she plays a "mad, sadistic witch."

Now I'm a little nervous.. How come she only had 5 lines to begin with? 3 is not a big difference but I feel like she might have needed more screen time in order to accurately portray her character and role in the plot. This is why some people get confused when watching the movies and they havn't read the books.

From all of the previews it looks like she has way more of a part than two lines. She's probably just exaggerating. They couldn't have picked a better Bellatrix.

That's what she said about a week ago on a UK talk show Jonathan Ross. I was hoping that she was just be overly dramtic, but maybe not. So sound like there's not going to be any taunting from her, and what about her fight with harry and her neville. I just don't get how two lines is sufficient enough!!

Well, I was hoping that Bellatrix would have a bigger part to play in the movie, but from the sounds of it, she's not going to have a huge role. Sounds like the job was a lot of fun though. Hopefully we get to see more of her in HBP!

Hey i wouldn't mind having one line, as long as i was in the movie, :). Bellatrix does not have that many lines in the book so it does stand to reason that her part will not be huge in the movie. But she does have a certain presence that i think Helena has imitted

Playing a Witch would be so much fun. You could be MEAN! Ahhh That would let out alot of my anger, thats for sure! She is such a great Character, I hope they captured her well, even if it is for 6 lines

Haha, I love Helena Bonham Carter! I was so happy she was recast as Bellatrix, I think she's just perfect for the part (and a terrific actress). Hopefully they'll include more Bella lines in HBP!

I've never been a big fan of hers as an actress, but I have a feeling that she is going to be exceptional in this role and I can't wait to see what she does with it. Fun to be a witch, I've always wanted to be magical. If only.

I think she would make a good witch, i think she is perfect for the role and i'm sure it will be a good performance!
