Ellen Degeneres showed an exclusive clip from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix today on her syndicated talk show.
The footage is of Dumbledore introducing Dolores Umbridge in the Great Hall, followed by her oily speech to students about the importance of holding Hogwarts up to its high standards and following rules.

I am torn on this Umbridge. She is so unlike the very detailed description of Umbridge but she does seem to have the attitude down very well. Hopefully that will be enough to pull off her scenes.

Umbridge is one of those characters that I love to hate. I can't stand the way she treats Harry or any of the other students, but without her we wouldn't get to see the development of the DA and that is something that becomes so important later in the story and sadly without her it probably wouldn't exist.

First of all I love the Ellen Degenrous show. She filmed at my job one day and it was amazing, and obviously i love Harry Potter so to see the two together is like really cool. I love this clip too, I really do hope that the movie stays as true as possible to the book like dont add anything that dosnt necessarily need to be there. Oh, and was Umbridges little cough thing, i hope the movie shows when McGonagal snaps at her during Harrys meeting about becoming an Auror.

watched it today, and it was a good clip. I was a bit worried about how Umbridge would translate to film, but the actress playing her does a really good job. Not at all the way I pictured her in my head when reading the book, but a nice portrayal for the screen.

So I loved her little "ahem" cough...worked nicely! Although this is a weird clip to show...unless you understand what's going on, it does seem a bit boring...not really the type of clip I thought they would show in order to boost movie sales (like HP movies need help, I know)
