Japan gets the movies before everyone else to beat the pirates. Evidently, they have serious piracy problems and the studio wants to get a jump on it by putting the movies out so they can get some ticket sales before the pirates eventually get hold of it and sell it.
Before, when HP came out in another country first, they got it on the street so fast, way before it hit their theatres. It's a preemptive (sp?) strike...

Dan will be racking up the Airmiles in the next couple weeks, going to lots of premieres and travelling on the publicity bandwagon. Hope he enjoys the experiences, having never tried long haul travel, but I have been told it is very tiresome.

Wow, Japan is really lucky. I seriously wish that I was there visiting for a while right now, but I live here in the United States and I am not leaving the country any time soon. I think that it is really cool that Dan is there to visit them all for the premire. Do you guys know if Emma, Rupert, Katie, Evanna or anyone else was there with him to visit? Dan looks really awesome too! I wish that I was in Japan right now!
