To add to our previous news on Harry Potter author JK Rowling, now we have learned of a documentary
on the author is scheduled to air on UK television sometime this winter.
According to the article RDF Media were given unprecedented access to film the documentary and followed the author around over the last year in which she was writing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the show is scheduled to air before Christmas on ITV1. We will update when we know more.

That should be very interesting to watch. It must have been really hard to keep DH under wraps with a camera crew around. Of course it must have been hard for the crew not to look at what she was writing as well.

This is wicked. Too bad I do not live in the U.K. though. However, I really do hope they give it here in the U.S. because if they do I will make sure to watch it. I wouldn't miss it for anything. I t will be cool to see how she lives day to day, and how she prepared herself for the final book. Can't wait.

My guess is that they will film some of it shortly and then after the book has been out so that she can talk about the end more freely.

I wonder, will these be some of her last interviews?? Does she see it that way? I mean, after 1 year, Harry Potter won't be such a huge thing.. Will we remember about her?

How wonderful! I don't think it should be limited to just the UK! They should show it in other countries - especially the US! After all Harry Potter fandom and love for Jo Rowling is global!

oh PLEASE tell me that us here in Australia will also get to see this? I think that it would be fascinating to learn how she works on a book - how much research she does, and what her family is like.
Hopefully HPANA will keep me posted!

I will be looking forward to that one! It would be interesting to see how she has dealt with all this. I am sure she never expected her books to be embraced to the extent that they have! That has to give someone a great sense of accomplishment! I hope they will include some spots with her family! It would be lovely to see her famiy and kids!
