Contrary to numerous web site stories Naomi Watts, Joseph Fiennes and Stuart Townsend are not
scheduled to appear in the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie, according to their representatives.
Filming for the movie is set to start in late September and casting news should be announced in the coming weeks. Please don't believe everything you read on the web until official word is released.

Honestly, i dont care who is cast in this movie as long as they play their parts well. i hope this movie is longer than ootp and has more of the book in it. im so excited! i dont think i can wait for 1 1/2 years for this next one to come out!!!!

I get all my casting news from the IMDB website. It'll let you know who's in what movie. Just look on there. The only four cast members signed on for HBP are Dan, Emma, Rupert and Tom.

I really try not to believe everything I read, 9 times out of 10 it is wrong. I do wonder who will play all of the new parts though. I hope they show Tonks more in the next movie. I really do like her. I am glad that Naomi Watts is not in the movie, she doesn't seem like she would fit well.

I saw this news story days ago, by chance, and sent it in as a tip, knowing it was probably false. We'll hear lots of false rumors before we hear anything certain for the movie.

Either prospect is not promising. Every movie should have Voldemort, seeing as he and Harry are the two most paramount characters in the story - and to replace Fiennes would just be ridiculous. I have read that he really enjoys the role, so I can't imagine that being of his choosing.
