Since it's now July 31st in the UK, we at HPANA would like to wish author JK Rowling and her creation Harry Potter a wonderful happy birthday.
Let’s all raise our butterbeer glasses and give thanks to the woman who has brought us such enjoyment over the years. Happy birthday Jo and to you Harry.

I love the fact that Jo shares her birthday with Harry. It seems rather fitting to me, really. After all, in a way you could say Jo gave birth to him just as much as she did her own children. She is the one who created the world he lives in, and has shared that with all of us. what a tremendous gift she has given the world, and how wonderful that it has encouraged so many kids to start reading again! Kudos to Jo for all her hard work, even if she does leave us with wanting much much more of it! Potter that is! l0l
