for August has been added on JK Rowling's web site.
Rowena Ravenclaw
Medieval (precise dates unknown)
One of the four famous Founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Rowena Ravenclaw was the most brilliant witch of her time, though legend has it that a broken heart - cause unknown - contributed to her early demise.

I thought it was rather fitting, but in a way I was rather let down. After all, we already knew the secret of the tiara or diadem by the time Ravenclaw's pic turned up.
By the way, is this what Jo meant by "Ravenclaw will get their day?" If so, that sure was a let down, wasn't it? I would rather have seen something more, but I guess this is okay.

Hehe, I like this woman. She prizes wit and brilliance - Ravenclaw sounds like the best house to be in. I like the method they use for entering the common room, but if it's just answering a clever question, does that mean that Hermione could have entered if she wanted? Hmm.
A broken heart... the running away of her daughter - the Grey Lady? I don't remember if she stole the diadem before or after her mother died. Heh, it was probably the loss of the diadem that broke her heart.
