A new New Wizard of the Month
for August has been added on JK Rowling's web site.
Rowena Ravenclaw
Medieval (precise dates unknown)
One of the four famous Founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Rowena Ravenclaw was the most brilliant witch of her time, though legend has it that a broken heart - cause unknown - contributed to her early demise.

Ahhh now thats how her diadem looks like. I think it was very deliberate of JKR to leave Ravenclaw to last because her diadem is a plot point. :) Clever!

I wish we could see more of the four founders in JKR's HP Encyclopedia..she said that there will be a detailed description of most of the wizards there and their stories..hmm..can't wait. =)

I absolutely love the wizard of the month. I wish the encyclopedia were released already. I woudl love to learn more about the four founders of Hogwarts. Rowena looks like my kind of witch. No wonder I always end up in Ravenclaw second after Gryffindor.
