for August has been added on JK Rowling's web site.
Rowena Ravenclaw
Medieval (precise dates unknown)
One of the four famous Founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Rowena Ravenclaw was the most brilliant witch of her time, though legend has it that a broken heart - cause unknown - contributed to her early demise.

I figured she'd be the next WOTM. I can't wait for the encyclopedia.I'd love to find out more about her.We found out the most we ever have in the last book.I want to know more about everybody.I was disappointed with how little she shared about everyone in the ending of the book.That's why I was so excited when I read everything she had to say about that and gave more information.I understand now why she ended it the way she did.

Jo said she was done with Harry Potter, maybe she is, but maybe she is not and she will come back and write about the founders. That is something I would definitely line up to buy.
Fitting that the WOM would be Rowena Ravenclaw.

The broken heart is definitely because she sent the Bloody Baron to bring her daughter back, and he KILLED her instead.
And it's definitely possible (even in the real world) to just die of a broken heart.

Since Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem plays such a huge role in Deathly Hallows it's nice to be able to put a face to the name (i don't remember a description of her in the books). It's going to be great to read the encyclopedia and learn more about the four founders.
