for August has been added on JK Rowling's web site.
Rowena Ravenclaw
Medieval (precise dates unknown)
One of the four famous Founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Rowena Ravenclaw was the most brilliant witch of her time, though legend has it that a broken heart - cause unknown - contributed to her early demise.

Since Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem plays such a huge role in Deathly Hallows it's nice to be able to put a face to the name (i don't remember a description of her in the books). It's going to be great to read the encyclopedia and learn more about the four founders.

Dying of a broken heart must have been terrible; too bad she was not able to hook up with one of the ghosts from Hogwarts castle.

I think it's sad that her daughter broke her heart, I wonder if the Grey Lady became a ghost because she felt so guilty for what she did to her mother?

Ah, finally my house founder, and if I may say so, the GREATEST school founder. She is pretty, I guess the sorting hat wasn't lying when it said she was "fair Ravenclaw". I must say, I'm glad we Ravenclaws finally have some glory! Wish we knew more about Ravenclaw, though...

Yes! I am so happy that Rowena Ravenclaw is finally the wizard or I guess that I should even say witch of the month because Ravenclaw is my favorite house at Hogwarts! I am so happy that she is because she deserves it and I am also glad that they said what she dd but I had never never ever knew that she had dies because of a unknown breaken heart, other then her dying then that is really cool. I am glad Ravenclaw is wizard of the month!
