The first pictures
of Daniel Radcliffe from his upcoming film My Boy Jack have appeared on the web. The television movie will air later this year on ITV in the UK and U.S. public television station PBS has bought the rights to air the movie via it's Masterpiece Theatre series.
The movie synopsis:
The true story looks at how Rudyard Kipling used his influence to get his 17-year-old son Jack (played by Radcliffe) a commission with the Irish Guards, despite his son's poor eyesight.
Jack went missing in action during the Battle of Loos and his mother and father carried out an ardent search for him, spanning many years and many miles of soul-destroying discovery.

Please remember that Daniel is playing a "Character" this is not how he "really looks", so please stop with the "ugly comments". He is playing a man of war. He is not playing a hearthrob in some "Win a date with Daniel" movie. Chill out people. He looks the part he is supposed to play.

That actually sounds like an interesting story. I don't know very much about the Irish, but it sounds like a great piece of folklore. Unfortunately I have no faith in Radcliffe's acting skills. Haha.

As much as I hate facial hair, (mustache...gosh I wanna rip it off, but i guess mustaches were common back then WWI), I hope he'll do a good job in this one. He has improved as an actor throughtout the HP films, Ootp as his best. Good luck
