Some news about the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD has been released by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) today. They have published a list of extras
that will include:
Various reports on the web suggest that the DVD will be released the second week in November but others have pointed out a December release. As soon as we have official information on the DVD release date we will be sure to let you know.
Meanwhile an additional piece has showed up online stating different extras on the DVD, please treat this as a rumor till confirmed as they differ from the BBFC list.
UPDATE: Thanks to Bruno from O Mundo de Harry Potter and to Rafael from Scar Potter for letting us know that:
Warner Home Video Brazil confirmed for them that the release date in Brazil will be November 14th and that the DVD will have more than one hour of unknown extras, counting to embroidery frames and the making of the film.

Ok exciting to know that the DVD will be soon. I love watching my other DVD's and now I will be able to have all five in a row and spend countless hours reveling in Harry Potter-a-thons. Oh wait, I do that now, oh well, I guess that just means extra Harry Potter. Yippee!

I LOVE EXTRAS! I was mad when I didn't get the 2 disck of GoF. So I'm getting this one definietly!! There is no whay I'm missing those extaras, especialy because the movie was so short.

I'm just not really that excited about this DVD release. The director made it his personal mission to make the longest book in the series into the shortest movie in the series, and I'm still upset about that.
I was really hoping the DVD would redeem the film. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the film, but the DVD could have been so much more (cf. Lord of the Rings Extended Editions).

Yay, I can't wait till OotP comes out on DVD! I love watching the deleted scenes and Interviews, It's awesome!! I can remember watching my GoF DVD for the first time..*sigh* how time flies..

I'm hoping to see Lily Potter if there's more of Snape's Worst Memory. I have a feeling the reason she was cut was that it would given too much away. I'm also just glad Luna's on the cover!

I do wish that some of the videos could be sold with the deleted sceanes added back in. That would be very cool. At home, it wouldn't matter how long the film was and it would be great for those of us who like the sceans that were cut.
