with David Yates, David talks about the reasons why he decided to direct Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, having fun with the characters, what screenwriter Steve Kloves will bring to the movie and much more.

I'm really excited about Yates. I think he did an absolutely brilliant job with OotP with what he had to work with. Even though I hated losing a lot of stuff, I found that I hardly missed it while watching the movie.
And him to talk about the characters and romances gets me excited. Because that is what most of HBP is about... and of course the other half is Harry's journey. It's like to halves really.

It's going to be interesting to see what he does for this film and how it will turn out. But I just know that it will be a huge success seeing how well OOTP did. I really didn't like what the did with OotP, I hated it, my least favorite movie so far.

Sounds like he is going to put a load of R/Hr in there! Yay! Hetalked about Dumbledre's death scene, I really hope it goes better than Sirius'. With Sirius it was "he died" "oh no" "go after bellatrix" it was too qucik. I only liked how it was silent.

I love that they are puting in all the Romance, the sixth one is my sister's favorite just because it's romantic and funny. Like a little happy spot between two intense books. I just hope for DH they don't cut Dobby's death scene.

I am so happy that David Yates is directing HBP. I think he did an amazing job directing OotP, and I think he'll do an even more amazing job directing HBP. I just hope he comes back for the last movie. I have a feeling if he does, he is going to make all of us Harry Potter fans extremely happy.
(God, I just hope Cuaron doesn't direct the last one. He's a good director, but he just shouldn't direct the HP series...)
