A few months ago we told you that filming
for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie was to take place at Lacock in the UK. Filming starts
next Wednesday and will continue till Friday night.
Actors Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort) are set to film some exterior scenes in the village. Signs placed in Cantax Hill, West Street and Church Street warning drivers of road closures between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m.
According to the article:
There has been a lot of preparation going on and they have been doing things to the outsides of houses on Church Street.
They have been painting the outsides of houses and adding bits to them too.
We are all going to be given dark blinds of some kind to put across our windows at night to help prevent our lights shining out when they are filming.
That way we can get on with our lives as normal and carry on with whatever we would normally do when they shoot scenes.
Many of Lacock's residents attended a meeting during which Warner Bros. pledged to give the village £30,000 compensation, half of which will go to the parish council. Each resident will also be paid £200 for the disruption's "inconvenience."

It's nice of them to take care of the people that live in the village. It has to be really exciting to film these scenes.

It would probably not be flashback scenes... Probably just them making stuff up for the effect. Teenage Tom was in most of the flashbacks... and the only Adult Tom that was in a flashback was in a scene with Dumbledore. I can't recall ANY scenes with Harry and Voldemort together.
Maybe... Could Ralph Fiennes be playing Tom Riddle Sr?

I wonder what scenes they are filming. I can't think of any with Harry & Voldemort together, unless it's Harry viewing one of Dumbledore's memories.

I'm with red&gold all the way. There are NO scenes with Harry and LV in this book. The only one is when Harry and DD are viewing that memory of when LV came to Hogwarts to get the DADA position.
Any flashback scenes can be taken from the previous movies.
And I thought the village of Lacock would be used for where Slughorn stays when Harry and DD visits him to recruit him for Hogwarts? But I may be wrong there...

That is very true, they may have gotten Ralph Fiennes to just appear as Tom Riddle Sr. during the flashback of Harry seeing him when Merope does. I wonder if they have already cast some unknown to play her and they'll shoot that scene.
At first I was like, Um, Voldemort doesn't appear in this film. But of course he does. Ralph Fiennes is needed for at least one scene, and that's when he goes to see Dumbledore. But of course you know Fiennes is probably annoyed that he has to get decked out in Voldemort gear and shave all his arm and head hair off again JUST to film 45 seconds of stuff, maybe a smidge more. Oh well. At least they're making decent use of Lacock. I've been there because I wanted to visit the abbey because of filming the cloisters for the films, but we never got in the abbey and so we walked around the village a bit.
And my money is on one of the homes doubling as Severus' home. After all, they're spending 5 nights there. They have a lot of night shots to do, both at the abbey and in the village. I'll bet they're making Lacock double for Slughorn's home, Severus' home, AND using the abbey for some of the castle fighting as was reported. They said principle actors will be there besides Dan.

I don't like that so much of their budget has to go to crabby people for inconvenience. We all like to watch movies, don't we? Well, they have to film somewhere, why want compensation for that? Now, if your house is taken over for a month, that's different. But if they're down the corner for two days, give me a break.
