The film crew for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is scheduled
to go to Abbotsbury in the UK for two days next week. The crew will be in the area to shoot a two-minute clip of reed beds for the movie. Only the production team, Harry's stunt double and the director, David Yates will be at the location.

All the time and effort for a short piece. But the end result justifys the time and effort. It will be interesting to see the final result.

A two-minute clip?? Is that really worth it? Hm, they must think it is. Atleast they're paying attention to detail.

Why is David Yates shooting a scene that involves Dan's stunt double, and not Dan himself? Isn't that stuff usually reserved for the second-unit director and team?

I really don't know that much about the U.K. So I don't have anything to say about the location, but it seem like a lot of work for such a short filming time. Good job, and good luck with the filming guys.

I'm trying to think about what the reed beds will be used for, but the only thing that comes to mind is from LotR. I think it is fun when we get clues like this and can ponder how the scenes will be used. Maybe it's two minutes because they will be using CG?

If Yates screws up HBP then I venture out a ban for him to do DH. I mean he messed up OotP, so many people who I know that have seen the fulm say that it was not good. Ok well maybe I am being a bit harsh, the movie was good if you didn't read the book but if you read the book and know it like I do you feel something missing in the film. The film was just straight forward, but I have to say that it was the most pleasing to watch out of the series so far.
