A regional UK newspaper has announced that Ashley Whitehead, a 12 year-old actor, has been cast as an orphan in the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie. Ashley is a member of the Showbiz Academy
, a talent agency in the UK that specializes in teaching young and aspiring actors, singers, and dancers. No word on what character Ashley will be playing.

Anyway, all this talk about this movie is making me more eager about it, and now I really can't wait for it to come into our cinemas...

Yeah, I think that if Warner Bro. cast someone as one of the orphans, they have to have some roll. My guess is that they will make him the kid he tortured in hte cave or maybe one that Dumbledore comes across.

Ashley must be a very important orphan in the movie to be in the newspapers, so he must be, as everyone is saying, the boy that Tom Riddle scares in the cave. It would be very weird for a national newspaper to make a huge deal about an extra. Can't wait for the movie!!
