According to director David Yates, the relationship between Ron, Hermione and Lavender is a "a nice triangle."
We also learn from the interview we learn that Katie Leung will be filming her scenes come January 2008.

If filming will be carrying on into January 2008 (and possibly after), it seems quite quick for the film to be finished off for a November 2008 release.
Looking forward to it though, as David Yates did an excellent job with OOTP.

Well that's a shock. considering that HBP is one of the most serious books in the entire series. This is great news though at least we'll have the guarantee of enjoying this film much better. CAN'T WAIT!

Sounds like it is moving along. Surprised by the comment on the funniest. It has so much dark material, it will be interesting to see how it finally comes off.

Well I found parts of the book to be very funny. I hope they do it justice. P.S. the DVD came out today and I got the wrong one. No extras or anything. I'm going to cry. So I guess it's back to Wal-Mart.

This is really good news for me. I thought it might be kind of depressing. The fifth movie didn't have as much humor as I would have liked.

I must be all by myself in this. I've always thought HBP was a funny book, but people keep asking how can this book be funny.
Gosh, I felt that even Harry was funny in this book. Go back and read the part with Harry getting the memory from Slughorn with the Felix stuff. THAT conversation was funny. Even with Harry talking about his parents death, JKR wrote it was so much wit.
Remember there was some quiet, light hearted moments before the storm of DD getting killed.
They aren't making this stuff up, it's in the book.

hmmm I really cant think of why it would be all that funny since something so not funny happened in it, you know with Dumbledoore dying and all.
but I trust what Dan says!

There were few parts in the book that were funny like the whole harry talking back to snape and saying something to the effect of you dont have to call me professor or somthing like that but the book was pretty much macabre so i hope that they didnt change too much. seriously the movies should be rated R by now not funny.

Hm, it's the funniest, but also one of the most serious of the books as well. Interesting. And I love that little description of the "nice triangle". It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Funny huh? I can see, But when Bonnie says not to be jelouse...well that Isn't going to happen! hahaha, I'll probably get really mad, I don't know why. I don't even know Daniel, but it's going to hurt to see him makeout. I am looking forward to see Hermione and Lavender fight it out for Ron! That I think is going to be funny. I wish I could see them film all the kisses, I bet they have a whole bunch of mess-ups

It better be the funniest! The sixth book was definitely one of the more humorous of the series, if not the most humorous, and the movie needs to replicate that. I want to laugh!
And I can't wait to watch the love triangle part. Can't wait. Next November couldn't come fast enough.
