Warner Bros. has updated their 2008 Preview Press Kit with a description of the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie and a picture
of Daniel Radcliffe as Harry.

Fantasy Adventure. Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn't counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simpering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

It looks like Harry is holding a text book (could be advanced Potions) and a peice of parchment, probably the Marauders Map. Could be the Sectum Sempra scene.
Glad that we get to see Romilda's chocolates too, it isn't a crucial scene, but a funny one, and the more light-hearted scenes the better, especially if they are true to the book.

Oh my goodness, that little description gave us so much information!! Yes, Dean Thomas will be Ginny's love interest (somewhat), Romilda Vane is in, and more with Hermione and Ron! I just got entirely too excited for a movie that will not be released for another year!!
Look at the picture, there's the Prince's book!

Hope is restored! From the little blurb about the film, I'm feeling quite confident this story will be quite true to the book; therefore, much more fulfilling for me personally. I was worried when I read a headline to the effect of, "funniest movie yet" because I feel this is one of the darkest HP novels and definitely even more heartbreaking than its predecessor, which I didn't think possible at the time of OotP since my favorite character is Sirius. But alas, I digress. Great news of the HBP film and I'm now looking forward to it even more. Only a year to go :)

Wonder who that might be... *grins* Well at least there'll have to be more Draco. And maybe we even se him cry. How great would that be.
