Even though J.K. Rowling was the number one choice by fans for TIME’s 'Person of the Year,' the Harry Potter author was one of the runner-ups
on this year's list. TIME magazine has a nice interview with the author where she talks about the books and answers
10 questions about Harry Potter.
When asked about going back to the series, JK's says:
If, and it's a big if, I ever write an eight book about the [wizarding] world, I doubt that Harry would be the central character. I feel like I've already told his story. But these are big ifs. Let's give it 10 years and see how we feel then.
This week's issue of the magazine hits newsstands on Friday with Russia's President Vladimir Putin as the 'Person of the Year' on the cover.
You can also hear an interview with JK here
where she answers many questions about the series, courtesy of TLC's podcast.

I really dont think they should award thisaward... because everyone does different stuff which makes them great, so you cant say one talent is better than another... its hard to compare them when theyre different...

NOT BAD JO.Coming third is the same as coming first. And at least you made it to the top five.
And about the book I would like to say that if she will write the 8th book then its her choice. But if she really writes the book then it will be great.

Why wasn't she #1? All the things she did this year from finishing the best book ever to all her amazing charity work. Well she is definitely #1 with me.

Well i think she should have been #1... but i guess #3 is good enough. I'd like her to return to the wizarding world someday... but not too soon... not as long as ten years... but maybe 5?
