The nominations for the sixth Visual Effects Society (VES) awards were chosen
this weekend and the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie has been included in four categories.
The movie is nominated in the following categories:
Outstanding Created Environment in a Live Action Motion Picture (The Hall of Prophecy)
Outstanding Models or Miniatures in a Motion Picture (Hogwarts School)
Outstanding Compositing in a Motion Picture (Hall of Prophecy and Comp Shots)
Outstanding Special Effects in a Motion Picture
The awards ceremony till take place on February 10th, 2008 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Thanks to Janice for the news.

Oh! I sure do hope it wins in all the categories.
The Visual Effects in the film were incredible.
And the Room of Requirement was fantastically made and tons of effort was placed into creating it.
Hogwarts has always been visually stunning.
