In a new interview
with actor Timothy Spall, Spall confirms that he will be making an appearance in the last two Harry Potter movies, Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows
Well I'm actually.... yes... I'm in the next one. And I'm also in the one at the end - I have a very big scene in that. I think they might be shooting two of them back-to-back - hard to know though, what with this writer's strike and all. They're shooting the penultimate one at the moment - which I have a brief appearance in it. I should be doing that soon.

Excellent! They really couldn't replace him. He's got the roll of Wormtail down to a science. He IS Wormtail! They can't find another one.

I don't think he's confirming that DH is going to be split at all. I think he's just saying that as far as he knows the two films will be shot back-to-back which is essentially what happened with the first two films. It's hard to tell, but I just can't imagine them splitting DH. I mean if they didn't split OOTP, why would they want to split the grand finale and ruin the continuity. I have a hard time believing J.K. Rowling would agree to that.

I read this news and I was going like: "of course he returns, he is Wormtail!" ... Then I realised I was stupid hahhha, it's tooo early in the morning here for me to be able to think :)
Anyway, it's good. I wouldn't want to see somebody else as Wormtail.
