Filming of the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie started today at Gloucester Cathedral. Stars already arriving
include Alan Rickman, who plays Professor Snape, Dame Maggie Smith, who plays Professor McGonagall, and Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy.
An early report states:
I saw them pouring vividly-coloured soup into bowls, with different food colourings ready to be added. It looked as though they could only be getting potions ready.

Filming is expected to continue through tomorrow, Friday, February 8th. If you happen to attended please send a report or pictures our way.

Oh God, Alan Rickman in full costume, glaring at the camera, he looks just like Snape in the flesh! How exciting for the kids who are working as extras, though.
