During the BAFTA's this weekend, Harry Potter baddie, Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), discussed
his disappointment at not appearing in Half-Blood Prince but is hoping to return for the Deathly Hallows movie.
I hope I'm coming back for seven. Dan's going to Broadway to do his play for a long time, so I don't know when or if I'm going to come back. But I'll be even more bitter if I don't get to return for seven!
Isaacs also told us how positive the Harry Potter experience was for him and many of the actors involved. Everybody likes each other and knows each other. The whole thing goes very easily and there's none of the normal tension you have on films wondering about whether it'll work, because we know it works.

Aw, I'm gonna miss him in HBP. I'm glad he's looking forward to returning in DH, I can't imagine any one else playing Malfoy. Im sure WB will keep him though, He plays his character really well.

He's gotta return for DH, does he? I mean, Lucius really isn't in HBP so it's not surprising that he doesn't have a part, but he does have a good role in the book seven...I guess you never know with the movies.

I love Jason Isaacs and respect him as an actor.
I love how dedicated he is to the books and the films.

That was kind of a silly thing to say by him. He is bound to come back since he plays a main role in the final book. Hasn't he read it? Jason should know that. Its not like he is a minor character like Mrs.Figg or Blaise Zabini.
