Brief video interview from 'HBP' set with Daniel Radcliffe

To follow-up on the news from yesterday comes a brief video interview
, done in February of this year, from the set of the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie with actor Daniel Radcliffe, in which he discusses the reported split of the last film in the series, Deathly Hallows.
Additional video will be aired today on the U.S. cable station E!'s Daily 10 show. Thanks to DR.co.uk for the link.

Interesting comments and impressions. Should be interesting to see how the commentary changes now that the word is out and filming begins. Although released as two, my guess is that it will be filmed as one.

Dan is going to be on the Daily 10? Woohoo! Thank you for telling me! I would have seen it anyway, I watch these entertainment shows every evening(I've gotten obsessed with them), you know, Access Hollywood, Extra, The Insider, Entertainment Tonight, E! News and The Daily 10. You never know when they're going to sneak in a clip from the next movie, an interview from one of the actors without telling us...I like recording this stuff and keeping it, and watching it later.
Oh my God, is it me, or did Rupert get very husky these past few months...he's starting to look like his brother and his father...He's still sexy though!

Right you are, Dan!! Thank goodness they are splitting the movie into two. It wouldn't do the book justice to cut half of it out of the film.

Ooh exciting! That was a really short interview but Dan is right, there are too many scenes in DH which can't be cut out. I think splitting the movie may partly be due to money, but i think the main reason is the fact that more or less every scene in DH needs to be included and splitting it will make it easier.
Im happy anyway, when i finished reading DH i can remember thinking it has to be filmed as two movies, otherwise they won't get it right.

That is nice that they interviewed Dan, but I am not in the mood to watch it. :Laugh out Loud: I hope this movie will be good, but then again I should not worry when it is the same director as OotP. But, I must say I am terrified of what is going to happen in the DH movie. It is the end of the series and it should be the best of all of them! Oh, no pressure on the director!

It does make sense to make that last book into two movies. There is so much material included in the book, it would need to be edited far too much to make it just one movie. Good for Warner Bros.

Does this mean that the entire original cast has agreed to do the second part of DH? If this film is being shot all at once but filmed as two separate movies what does this do for the actors/ actresses pay? They will possibly have to work longer then originally planed I would imagine, and I know some of the lead characters are anxious to move on in there careers. The last film must have the original cast or the whole series will be ruined!
