I really really hope it is NOT TRUE that the Harry-Ginny part is one of the main ones in this movie, I even get nightmares considering that the sixth installment will be a COMEDY. Gosh, I hope they show the important parts and not only the love problems, they aren't the most important thing, not in the sixth book and therefore shouldn't be in the movie!
I don't want to miss any important scenes relating to the whole story and movie 7, of course...
Now I can't sleep...

I can't wait to see it, It's going to be great even though i'm not a huge harry/ginny fan. Oh well, but I am very pleased about the whole comedy thing...you know why? Because when there's comedy comes Ronald Weasley! Yeah! I was missing my funny ronikins.

I do like how there will be more humor, but this movie also needs to incorporate the darkness that is so abundant throughout the book. It cannot be all humor.

More humour means Ron gets a bigger part, finally. He truly is a comedic genius, RUPERT FTW!

I agree with [u]snapelupinfan[u], i am excited to see the Harry and Ginny scenes but those are hardly the most important, and though the book is not so dark I do not think they should make the movie [b]comical[b], because it is in no way comical.

Whooo! I'm happy that ships are finally going to be an important part of the films, and that Quidditch is back! I wonder how they're going to explain Quidditch though? Are they going to act like it's been there all this time? *shrugs* I guess we'll find out when the movie is released.
I'm almost scared for the cave scene though. I really hope Gambon can make his pain believable. But that's another topic. >_<

Wicked cool!Interesting comments and insights.I'm glad to know that filming is going well and I'm really excited about this film.I'm so looking forward to the whole funny stuff, not to mention all the ackward romances going on.Indeed,I'm happy that they split DH into two films, coz they don't have to cut a lot of things going on the book and it will also gives justice to the final installment of the franchise. It definitely deserves a grand finale, right?

Very nice interview.
I like the whole romance stuff, but I hope that it does not overshadow the other more important stuff such as dumbledore's death and voldemort's past life and the horcruxes etc...
I really can't wait to see Slughorn's christmas party. It should be very funny.

snapelupinfan - You're right; H/G romance wasn't THE most important aspect of HBP (although most people would see Harry establishing a relationship with his soul mate pretty important..)
But W.B. stuffed up; there was pretty much no Ginny whatsoever in most of the previous movies.. OotP was meant to be her big coming out moment, yet most of her lines consisted of only "Reducto!" and all of her character-defining moments were cut.
So I'm guessing that they need to establish who Ginny is, and then establish H/G, because so far they have failed to do so, and this is why H/G is going to be massive. Well, that's my theory..
Anyway, I of course am excited about this.. But they better make the ending extremely dark with Dumbledore's death to make up for all the fluff.

Yay to Harry and Ginny! This is great news especially to Ginny fans who have waited for her time to shine! Luna and Cho had their chance to shine before. So this news would only show us that Ginny would be one of the key characters in this film. It's not like it's all about Harry and Ginny, you know. Go Harry and Ginny! Yay yay!

I agree with Aj on this. =P What about Ron and Hermione oh plus, Lavender?
We can't forget about them also.
Harry and Ginny are alright. But, I am a HUGE Ron and Hermione fan.
I just want to see/hear some news about the drama/love scenes with Ron, Hermione, and Lavender.
Also, "the fifth [film] was pretty intense, but this one has more comedy in it."
I found Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince kind of dark, mysterious, mystifying, and the book had it's good/happy parts.
Comedy in Half Blood Prince...Hmmm... this is going to be quite interesting.
Either way, I am excited to see this film. It's going to be great. Hopefully. Hahahaha. =]
Ps, sorry about the long post.

Wow sounds thrilling. I would love to have the chance to visit Leavesdon during filming like this reporter did! It's nice to hear the insight on the HBP film. Although I agree with those of you who are concerned that the 'romance' angle will overshadow the other important parts of this story, I am glad for the chance to see more character depth for Ginny and Harry as well. I am sure they won't turn it into a full-fledged romance movie, and we will still have our Snape/Dumbledore/Malfoy storylines in there.
