Some photos of Helen McCrory as Narcissa Malfoy from the set of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince have appeared
online.
Additionally, Ms. McCrory has stated that she will be reprising her role the last films in the franchise, Deathly Hallows.

I like Helen as an actress and all but I wasn't that pleased when I heard that she was cast as Narcissa becuase I didn't think she really looked like the character. The long blond hair does help but she's not spot on with the Narcissa I had imagined.

The blond hair is definitely working on her though.
I guess we will have to wait until we get some clearer pictures.

I did think that she would look colder, more haughty, with a rather prominent chin and a slightly thinner face, but thats just how I imagined her. She actually looks like an older and r version of the new Pansy Parkinson. I also think that she looks too nice for Narcissa Malfoy, although I do seem to have a soft spot for her; when she was claiming that Harry was in the seventh book, The ly Hallows, much to Harry's relief, but of course she shouldn't have been such a snob towards him in Madam Malkins Robes Store at the start of the sixth book, The Half Prince, as you will see in the chapter classified as 'Draco's Detour'. She is quite pretty, and you will notice that in the fourth book, The Goblet of Fire, J.K.Rowling described Narcissa with good looks, despite the look on her face as if something smelt bad. But one problem is that she doesn't look a bit like Helena Bonham Carter, despite their simultaneous name and noting their sisterhood.
I still can't wait for the Half Prince to come out!!
