The Scottish Highlands and Islands Film Commission are reporting
today that filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie will be shot in Lochaber, Scotland later this year.
You may remember
that back in February producer David Heyman stated in an interview that they "won't start filming 'til February next year" so we are unsure as to when actual filming will take place or who will be participating.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I will hit theaters in November 2010, followed by Part II in May 2011.

I still don't understand why DH won't be released until Nov. of 2010. If the filming starts in Feb. of 09, it should be ready by Feb of 10 or there abouts.
I don't see any reason to make us wait so long.
Blessings! Hecate3fold!

It is impossible to believe that they are about to start filming the adaptation of the final installment. Where has the time flown for us as a fandom?

It is well know that once you have finished the Half Blood Prince and you have a Film crew rolling...You must keep going to the next step and that is the Deathly Hallows.

Hmm, I wonder what they are filming, maybe the camping shots? Or when they trek through the hills to get to Luna's house, I remember it being windy, will have to wait and see!

That looks like a pretty place.
I wonder what scene will take place there, most likely one of the many places that the trio camps out.
