In a new interview Warwick Davis from the Harry Potter movies recently discussed
the decision to split the seventh novel Deathly Hallows into two films as well as his brief appearance in the next movie, Half-Blood Prince.
Mr. Davis on the movie 7 split:
I think that’s a good idea because when you try and squeeze these quite lengthy novels into a two-hour movie, a two-and a half hour film there is gonna be stuff that’s left out. There’s so much in the last book, I think it’ll make two really good films. It’s worthy of that.
On his role in the Half-Blood Prince movie:
My character seems to get involved in fun stuff now. I’ve had an immensely enjoyable time again. It’s a real honor to be a part of number 6.

Well at least Professor Flitwick will be in HBP. But it would be nice to see him teach a class rather than just some silliness.

I'm glad he agrees because this movie split definitely made the fans happy. I just wonder if we're going to be able to see it in theaters all at once? I'd assume so.

That's awesome that he's going to be involved in six. He is an amazing actor...can't wait.
As for what he said about the split I agree that is should be done so that things are not left out, but I still think that WB is just trying to make more money by splitting the movie.
