Warner Bros. has officially announced
the worldwide satellite teaser trailer debut for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, meaning we should see the trailer online -- probably Tuesday -- and in theatres by the end of next week!
(Going by a similar announcement for Order of the Phoenix in 2006: the satellite debut was November 20, and the teaser was online the same day.)
Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information.
Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn't counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simmering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.
The film itself will be released on November 21, 2008.

I can't decide whether or not they should've mentioned Harry's feelings for Ginny however, I think it would be better to shock those who haven't read the book.
But I guess it's us diehard fans who care about it the most anyway. (:

Excellent news! It's funny, I told some family members last week that all I wanted for my birthday (which is on Monday) was a Harry Potter trailer. Looks like I'm getting my wish! I can't wait to see it.

Well, anything has to be better than the previous little snippet they called a trailer before. Can't wait to see more! The tiny tease just angered me. It was of no use to get me excited about the coming film. I feel it was a waste of time and money.
