Thanks to intrepid sleuths, careful examination of the teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince reveals what looks like the first image of renegade werewolf Fenrir Greyback and -- near the end of the video -- the "avada kedavra" of a certain major character.
First, the werewolf who infected Remus Lupin is seen briefly growling and prowling in the tall grass... Fenrir Greyback? You be the judge:

you can still see it). UPDATE: As many of you have kindly pointed out, the scene bears more of a resemblance to the death of « Cedric Diggory » in Goblet of Fire. It was likely used in the trailer to demonstrate the evil things Voldemort will do/has done.

Yes, of course it's Greyback. I figured that out from the first watching of the trailer. Who else would be growling? As for the avada kedavra part, I just assumed that that was another flashback to Cedric's or Lily's death like the quick flashes of Voldemort's face from Ootp over the young Tom Riddle's face (which was very cool, by the way). Looking forward to the full theatrical trailer!

It's a little hard to tell but Greyback doesn't look nearly as dirty and grubby as he should be. I wonder if his clothes will be too tight on him too. And thank the gods that the actors don't have to put up with the smell!
That might be right for those picts of the glowing spectere, only time will tell.

I think the death scene is from Goblet of fire. On the google link, if you look carefully in the third picture, the character has a wand in his hand. Obviously, for those of us who read the books, we know that *spoiler* the person who's supposed to die shouldn't have his wand at this point.
Also, it wouldn't be the first time that they put old material in a trailer that made people think it was new material. In movie 5's trailer, they showed voldemort coming out of some type of mist, and people thought it was new. Actually, it was from the rebirthing party in 4. So I'm going to go with the Avada Kedavra scene being Cedric.

Oh, come on, why the need for spoiler warnings and the like - here, on HPANA? Anybody worthy of being called a Harry Potter fan would deem it ridiculous that spoiler warnings were needed three years after the story was told.
As for the images of Greyback - I'm not sure if it is him although it does seem likely. The Avada Kedavra bit I really have no idea about.
