Thanks to intrepid sleuths, careful examination of the teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince reveals what looks like the first image of renegade werewolf Fenrir Greyback and -- near the end of the video -- the "avada kedavra" of a certain major character.
First, the werewolf who infected Remus Lupin is seen briefly growling and prowling in the tall grass... Fenrir Greyback? You be the judge:

you can still see it). UPDATE: As many of you have kindly pointed out, the scene bears more of a resemblance to the death of « Cedric Diggory » in Goblet of Fire. It was likely used in the trailer to demonstrate the evil things Voldemort will do/has done.

Oh, come on, why the need for spoiler warnings and the like - here, on HPANA? Anybody worthy of being called a Harry Potter fan would deem it ridiculous that spoiler warnings were needed three years after the story was told.
As for the images of Greyback - I'm not sure if it is him although it does seem likely. The Avada Kedavra bit I really have no idea about.

I hadn't thought about Fenir Greyback, oh I hope he'll end up being as creepy as he was in the book. Also have to say that I'm glad to hear that the AK scene will be closer to the one from GoF. I think that more closely resembles how the book describes the death than in how it was portrayed in OotP. I'm looking forward to seeing more in future trailers!

He looks a bit weard but i can't wait to see the whole thing.
I googled the acter as soon we found out who it is just to see how hw looks like. (did the same with Regulus, Zabini, Tom all ages...)

I saw a trailer today that came on before the Sisterhood movie. But I do not know if it was the same trailer as above. I would watch the clip, by unfortunatley I only have dial up for internet and therefore only gives me snail like speed. blah. I will watch it soon!!!
