No matter when the movie is coming out, i'm sure we're all gonna watch it...let's just loyally wait for it's release (NO FORGIVENESS FOR WB THOUGH!!)

Dumbledore was supposed to be a snazzy dresser. But ever since Gambon took over from Harris, his clothes have looked more like bedsheets. Was that something that Columbus did right? I very much dislike Dumbledore's wardrobe in 3-6. And he wears the same thing throughout the whole movie, it appears. Come on, Dumbledore has more fashion sense than that!

Come on people. You've got to get a grip about this delay in the film's release date. Sure, we are all disappointed, but why is it such a huge deal? I completely understand why they moved it, and I may have done the same thing. It just makes incredible business sense. They have an opportunity to have it generate millions more than they would have otherwise. Go for it! Hopefully that profit will go into the final 2 movies. Even if it doesn't, this is entirely WB's call to make, and they have every reason to do so.
I don't begrudge WB one bit. I am very disappointed, but I'm sure I'll find some way to pass the time, and Alan Horn was right: we have to wait 2 years in between movies regardless of whether it's in between movies 5 and 6 or between 6 and 7. It all works out the same in the end. So stop your whining, grow some patience, and just start looking forward to the anticipation of the next 11 months. (You know you love the anticipation; don't fight it.)
Oh and if you're looking for a cause to really champion, here are a few much more worthy of attention than the "travesty" of a movie postponement:
Cancer research
Child abuse
Spousal abuse
Genocide
Human rights
Animal rights
Workers rights
Global warming
Drug abuse
Drunk driving
World Hunger
Domestic poverty
Homelessness
Health care
AIDS research/treatment/prevention
Pick one or find your own, just stop with the overly dramatic, ridiculous, and unjustified reactions to this whole thing.

It is unbelivable that the Photo of the Half Blood Prince looks so fantastic and I cant wait to see it. Now, by WB moving it up. Would make the fans very upset. If this happens there should be some kind of HP incentive.

It's a lovely picture but I think these things are going to run out before the movie gets released. 11 months=less interest in the film.

Thanks for the little lecture, jasonact, but I'm still really hacked off about the whole thing and we to whom you refer as 'overly dramatic' and 'ridiculous' fans are justified in being as upset as we all are about WB's decision. My support of women's and non-human animal rights will continue as it always has, and my HP fandom will continue to be a completely different portion of my life to it. I'm certain many of us here support 'worthy' causes, so do us a favour and discover a these useful little things people who lead balanced lives call 'boundaries'.
Regarding business sense, I think theirs is rubbish. And, WB is hardly hurting for money; their decision to move the film is absurd for so very many different reasons.
Don't give up, everyone, keep at WB. Maybe contacting them, shouting, signing petitions etc. will prove futile, but it's worth trying. Haven't we learnt anything from Harry Potter?

He is wearing his glasses. Look at the hi-res photo. I think Gambon came into his own in OOTP. He played Dumbledore much more aas I pictured him and more as Harris had played him. In POA and GOF he was too full of bravado. All that screaming and shouting is just not the character.
I can't wait to see him in this film. The scene in the fire at the lake in the cave looks epic. If he pulls this film off, considering the importance of Dumbledore and Harry's relationship, we may forget his rather mediocre potrayals in POA and GOF.
And by the way, JASONACT. Probably not the best way to introduce yourself to HPANA... telling everyone to get over the film delay and that we are overreacting. Those of us who've been posting for yearstake such disappointment rather seriously. And although we are perfectly aware that there are bigger issues in the world, HPANA is where true fans can get together and vent about frustrations, celebrate milestones, discuss the Potter universe and generally join in with others who feel the same way about the series. They are an escape for many who deal with the harsh reality of day-to-day life.

he only puts on his glasses when he's at the podium. check the rest of the pics they've released...he's never wearing them. i guess Gambdon has decided that Dumbledore went to a muggle optomotrist and got lasic eye surgery! he's seeing 20/20 again!
and i'm sorry, he still looks like Hobo-Dumbledore to me. his clothes are too dull, and his beard's all scraggily and...he's just wrong. wrong i tell you! i'm glad this is pretty much the last time we'll see him. personally, i'm more than ready to be shot of him...

Luna!- Bless you for pointing those out. *smooches you* Maybe it's not as much Gambon who ruins the role of one of the most brilliant men in the wizarding world as much as the idiots who have him acting that way. I was so utterly disgusted by his performance in the all the movies besides CoS and SS. Absolutely appalling. *vomits* He was acting nothing like the calm, wise Dumbledore JK portrayed in the series.
If he's cleaning up his act (no pun intended), I'll be head over heals in joy, that's for sure.
