Well, that's nice to know. I won't go see it at the movies, I don't even really care about this thing.
Let's hope they'll still get their box office shock when the movie sinks on opening weekend.

@Topic Twilight: That book seems to polarize. I'm negatively polarized (as in: Do I have to finish this thing?); I can't even stand people who lose their brains over a pretty face IRL (plus that medical condition the heroine should get checked... maybe she's near-sighted?), I doubly can't stand them in literature.

I don't care if it's anticipated, I will NOT go to see it when it premieres.
I'm not giving up on this. WB needs to be taught a lesson, and we, the public, are the only ones who can teach it to them. I sincerely hope that people don't forget come next July and stay away from the opening weekend of HBP.
We need to stand firm, fellow fans.
Blessings! Hecate3fold!

Well....its not suprizing that HBP is the most anticipated film of 2009.Perhaps that's the other reason of WB changing the release date.To be honest,I'll like it to be the most anticipated film of 2008 where it suppose be release.

@Hecate3fold I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately, it seems like an awful lot of people have already let it go and are moving on, forgetting all the boycott hoopla of a week ago. For it to have a real impact on WB we need everyone to stand firm not just the few of us who are still so angry. On one hand I know it IS just a movie and I should get over it, but every time I think about it... WB will not be getting their box office $$$ out of me.

Don't worry, I'm not seeing it. I didn't even want to see it that much in the first place. I thought I might go see it like a week later after it came out [when it was still in 2008] or something. Now I'm not seeing it at all.

I mean, who does not believe this statistic? It is the 6th film in the series. People have already invested thousands of hours in watching and reading the series. I am definately looking forward to it.

I'm still annoyed about the change of date. Just to think it would be out in 3 months if they hadn't done that....and christmas is a WAY better time to release a big movie than in summer.

I'm going to wait for the DVD to hit the stores. I am NOT going for the film in July.
