DETAILS magazine, which features Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe on its cover
this month (previously reported), is running a contest to win a trip for two to the New York premiere of Half-Blood Prince next summer. Entrants must be at least 21 years of age.
Grand Prize includes:
No purchase is necessary, but the contest also features a promotion to garner new subscribers to the magazine.

Will there ever be a contest for kids that are actually the same age as the three main stars of the film? Like, usually in some contests, it's 18 and above. I wonder why 21. The only thing Harry Potter I've ever won was a pair of tickets to the movie I'd already seen.

Yeah, just another contest for people from the US only. If i only i could wave a wand and make these promoters understand that there are fans from other countries who NEVER get any oppourtunities like this. We don't have local promoters that would offer anything like this over here, but why can't we be eligible to competitions from Bloomsburry or Scholastic? We buy thier books in my country, as they are the only harry potter publishers we get in Trinidad, so we contribute to thier sales / profits.
