Warner Bros. has kindly -- and exclusively -- sent HPANA and other fan sites the official theatrical trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. We have also confirmed that the trailer will appear in theatres on what was originally the release date of the film, November 21, attached to Twilight.

Sorry to post again...but I hadn't watched the trailer before I posted before. This trailer has made me excited for HP again, twilight has been taking over recently, but HP is working its way back to the top!!! Wish we could see it sooner!

And I thought that international HBP trailer we saw recently was cool! This one is incredible.
It's going to cause quite a stir at the Twilight screenings since there are so many overlapping fans (myself included). Great match from a marketing perspective.
The lonely "July" at the end still got me a bit down though. It'll be a long winter.

The trailer was really great, but what if we could see the movie instead? I mean harry potter was not only pushed back to make more money itself, but it was also pushed back because WB feared it would take to much money away from Twilight. Well what if we did something about it? I don't mean petitions. Twilight is supposed to be WB's holiday blockbuster. But what if Twilight didn't do so well? What if we along with others boycotted the film just for month, maybe just three weeks even? I mean it would really say something, and show how strong the fans really are and maybe even give us the movie earlier since it's already done. It has been done before. I believe that the Harry Potter fan base is big enough to boycott the movie. I know a lot of people want to see, but don't you want to see HP more? And think if we are a success you can still see Twilight, just three weeks or a month later, and along with that we might even get HP, the movie, just not the trailer. But even if we don't get the movie early we would def. be making a statement and really saying something, and def. showing WB what HP fans are really made of and how strong and united we are. I have done successful boycotts before, and I think this one could be a success either way if we really get the word out and come together. Like I said though, kind of a long shot, just wanted to shoot that idea out to you guys.

The WB has nothing to do with Twilight, Twilight would be their competition, so nothing we do would effect the movie's release date. Plus if Twilight does not make enough money in the opening weekend the sequels will most likely not be made, and you try telling the riots of fans not to see Twilight opening weekend!!
And I want to see Twilight just as much as I want to see HP, so not thank you I will not be partaking in your plan ;)
