Nice to see someone who works with Dan get to do some nice stuff as well. His working with Dan was a nice breathrough role for Dan, and I think we will see that benefit in the future films.

Always nice to see the actors working with Dan get some press time too. Not that Dan is a camera hog...the media just hyper focuses on Dan. I would love to here Richard read "T'was the Night Before Christmas".

Somehow I can't quite picture "Uncle Vernon" reading The Night Before Christmas. I know, I've seen him in a lot of other roles but he will always be the cantankerously evil Uncle Vernon in my mind.
Actually I know he is a marvelous actor and I'm sure he will present a captivating rendition of the classic tale.
Blessings! Hecate3fold!

I'm sure he'll read this very well. There's something about British narration, would be nice to hear.

Well, the actors working with Dan should actually thank him, because it's thanks to his fame that they manage to do all these things. Richard won the Tony several years ago and it has not been until now, when he is working wih Daniel, when he is asked to do all these interviews and appearances.

It's obvious they asked Dan to attend, but he doesn't like to go to these kind of things whih are not related with acting, he doesn't like to be in the public eye all the time (unlike some of his HP castmates) so they asked Richard instead. Same has happened before with that other show with the puppets.

I agree with Hecate3fold . It is hard to see Uncle Vernon be a nicer guy. If you watch Ballet Shoes...it was hard to do. I kept thinking he was going to kick the girls out of his house and stop talking about "such nonsense". Hehe!
