To add to their numerous articles leading up to the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince the LA Times spoke
with actor Rupert Grint about the past and what the future may bring.
I was thinking about what it’s going to be like when we’re done, after the last movie. It is going to be really weird, actually. At the moment it seems quite far away. I don’t know what I’m going to do, really. I’m going to miss it, I think, because it’s been my whole life for a long time. I really enjoy it as well, every year we’ve come back and done it. All of this, this is what I know...
I think it’s going to be sad when this, all of it, when it’s all over. Reading the last book, there was so much talk about who was going to die. So I was half-expecting, I mean, me, Dan and Emma to not survive. Or our characters, I mean. I was pleasantly surprised, though. I’m glad that it ended the way it did. We all make it.

I love how genuine he is about the end of the Harry Potter movies. Yes, I really hope they end up making great movies after wards - I'm pretty certain they will. Go Rupe! And Dan and Emma!

I think they are great actors and they had really improved, so I'm expecting to see much more of them after the end of HP, I hope I'm right.

Well if things don't work out for him, like he said in the other interview, he can always drive around in his ice cream truck and sell ice cream to the kids.
Really, he's too talented to not be in pictures when the Potter films are through. I'd like to see him do more comedy.
Blessings! Hecate3fold!

I don't want to imagine the end of the series just yet. But best wishes to all the actors when it comes.

"with his glum smile and complete lack of pretension he seems as unaffected as the pub regulars enjoying afternoon beers back in his home village of Watton-at-Stone." That totally sounds like our Rupert! I hope he does continue to act because he really is a talented bloke. I think it would be great to see him do some comedy because from some of the scenes from HPB, he does it very well.

Indeed,it will be a bittersweet ending. You have this mix emotions about the final installment of the HP series. Its gonna be very hard to take in after DH is finish. But it will be so much harder for the cast and crew, whose been working with each other for years, like Rupert said;its gonna be really weird. But,I'm sure their gonna make more films, that we fans are still gonna see.Good luck Rupert! As well as Dan and Emma! The TRIO lives on!
