Saturday we reported that Harry Potter star Rupert Grint had contracted the H1N1 Influenza virus (Swine Flu). Earlier today, while speaking with reporters
at a press event in London, England, Rupert commented on his bout with the virus.
"It was quite scary when I first found out I had swine flu. I thought 'Am I going to die?' But it was just like any other flu really. I had a sore throat and I went to bed for a few days."
Thankfully Rupert had only experienced mild symptoms of the virus and is set to attend the official premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince tomorrow in London, England.

THAT'S who had it! I was asking Mommy who had it... my helper thought she had it, so I thought it was her I was thinking about. I think it's crazy the way people freak out over swine flu - it's not that bad from what I've heard from others, but I'm TOTALLY glad to hear he's fine!

I'm sure you've noticed that Influenza is spelled wrong in the title but just wanted to point it out.
And the Swine Flu was found to be no worse (actually less so) than the normal flu. It had a far less percentage of morality than the normal flu has every year. It was sensationalized by the media.
But I'm glad Rupert is better none-the-less.
