In a new interview Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) in the Harry Potter movies discussed the last movie, "Deathly Hallows 2," and her death scene at the hand of Molly Weasley - Julie Walters.
I'm mostly in [Deathly Hallows: Part 2]. But it was fun. I died on my last day, which was really weird -- to actually be [killed] on my last day. Molly Weasley - Julie Walters - kills me.
And it'll be quite the moment.I do get a good death scene. It was really exhausting. As usual! [I'm] duelling, with a wand, on a table. I fell right off. I was clever enough to say, 'If you're going to ask me to duel, backwards, can we put a stuntman at the end?' They said, 'Ah, you won't need one.' And what did I do? Walked straight off.
You'd think with 70 people looking at you, one of them would go, 'Er, could you stop?!' No! They loved it. I nearly killed myself -- on the day that I died."
Bellatrix wasn't on the page, I did think, What can I do to make this interesting? She was just written as tall and gaunt, but I knew there was something I got attracted to -- playing arrested development. You know, children. Bellatrix is another child -- stuck and totally anarchic.

Good perspective on how she approached the role. Also gives some insight on how others view the characters based on what JKR provides. Should be interesting to see that final scene.

You'd think they would have had soft mats around the table so she wouldn't get hurt. Maybe they did and she missed them. Oh well, an actor's life can get dangerous I guess.
I'm sure she put her 'best foot backward' to get the scene filmed.

I Just love Helena Bonham Carter, she is one of the greates actresses ever..if she ever does come to my town..i would jump up and down..of happiness ^_^ and Her playing Bellatrix is super good..I do hope that they let her say the B##$ word..in the movie..i know..with Uncle Vernom(cant spell) his sister they did let her say it for 3rd movie..So they better let Helena say it for that scence ^_^..and my sister will surly be shocked when Bellatrix goes bye-bye :P ..I cant wait for the movie to come out..Im goint cry..alot...when all is finish.. ={ ..

I know all Potter fans already know what happens in the story,but at the same time, there are tons of people out there who are fans of the movies but have never read any of the books. I know the information is out there for anyone wanting to know but here's Helena throwing spoilers left and right!
Aren't the actors bound by their contract to keep the plot of the films hushed up as much as possible?

That sounds brilliant and I can't wait to see it on film. Helena played Bellatrix perfectly. No one could have done it better. I hope they leave the b-word in. Molly absolutely has to say that because it goes so perfectly as she kills her.
