Chris Rankin to host Q&A session at Azkatraz 2009  
Actor Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley in the "Harry Potter" films) will be attending the Azkatraz conference in San Francisco this July, hosting a Q&A session and visiting with fans. Only 125 tickets are available, priced at $65 through April 1.

Azkatraz 2009

Wrock around the Rock with Azkatraz 2009  
HPEF has announced yet another attraction to the already jam-packed Azkatraz 2009 weekend. Wrock around the Rock is a four hour criuse around the San Francisco bay and Alcatraz, featuring performances from such wizard rock bands as The Remus Lupins and the Whomping Willows.

HP Fan Trips

Fan groups adjust for loss of 'Half-Blood Prince' in November  
Many people's plans were thrown into disarray by the delay of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" until next summer. But when one door shuts, another (or several) open: HP Fan Trips announced this evening that they have secured a cast member from Equus to participate in an exclusive workshop following the included performance; and Azkatraz has announced plans for an exclusive IMAX screening of "Half-Blood Prince," which now conveniently coincides with their conference in 2009.
