JKR donates £10m to University of Edinburgh to set up MS research clinic
JK Rowling, the author of the "Harry Potter" series has donated 10 million pounds to the University of Edinburgh to set up a MS clinic. The clinic, which will "focus on patient-based studies to help find treatments that could slow progression of the disease, working towards the eventual aim of stopping and reversing it," will be called the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic.

'Deathly Hallows'
Update: Confirmed: 'Deathly Hallows: Part 1' test screening takes place in Chicago
Our friends over at Mugglenet first reported it, and now it can be confirmed that a test screening for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" has taken place in Chicago, with WB president Alan Horn and Director David Yates in attendance to gain initial reactions from the audience. UPDATE: Hogwarts Radio #58 has been released, and contains an interview with co-host Eric Scull, who saw the film.

EW covers 'Deathly Hallows' & reveals split
This weeks issue of "Entertainment Weekly" features "Harry Potter" on the cover and includes interviews with producer David Heyman and actors Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, as well as new images. But the most exciting news is where the movie 'Deathly Hallows' will be split.

Update: Emma Watson loses most of her hair in new 'do
Emma Watson's new look may shock a few fans... her hair is shorter -- much shorter. The actress, best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" films, was seen in New York City earlier this week sporting the new hairdo while doing publicity for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I." Check out the photos here. UPDATE: In a new interview with "Entertainment Weekly, which features an official photo of Emma with her new haircut, Watson discusses missing out on the "experimentation that most teenagers go through," and more.

The official "Harry Potter: Spells" app for iPhone/iPod touch is now available for free download from the iTunes store. The free version comes with a variety of spells, with additional "Spell Packs" available for purchase. UPDATE: The "Harry Potter: Spells" sweepstakes is now over, winners should be announced soon.
