AZKABAN PRISON (PNN) -- Sirius Black, convicted 12 years ago for the murder of 13 people with a single curse on a busy Muggle street, has escaped from Azkaban prison, PNN has learned.
Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge has notified Muggle governments around the world of Black's breakout, to the chagrin of the International Federation of Warlocks. Fudge insists that Black's inherently dangerous nature warranted the notice.
"Look, it's supposed to be impossible for anybody to escape from Azkaban prison," said Fudge. "I mean, we've got Dementors guarding the place, and they've been very trustworthy up until now!"
Sightings have already been reported globally by nervous witches and wizards. None have been officially confirmed so far.
"Personally, I won't let any of the children out alone until he's back in Azkaban," said a worried mother at popular wizard pub The Leaky Cauldron, who wished to remain anonymous.
